ABOUT ME

My Background

Artist Statement

I first started gaining interest for photography when I first started freshman year, I actually read about it and thought it was a class I could enjoy and learn from. This year I really enjoyed doing the Monochromatic Color photoshoot. During Photo 1 I have not just learned more about taking photos but the type of shoots that would be best for me. The photos I take are mainly influenced by other artist that I have seen and I switch up the theme. Not all of my photoshoots have been the best but recently I have improved, as a photo 1 student I will continue to improve with my art and photo shoots.

This year one of the photoshoots that really caught my eye was the Rules of Third photo shoot it taught me a lot on the type of background you would want taking your photos. These photoshoots have not only made me better but inspired me to step out of a box and try new themes. Me personally as a person I enjoy the sky and the way nature is formed, any chance I have to go outside and take photos of beautiful things for example flowers or maybe even a unique tree I will.

As an Artist being able to switch up the photos I take relating it to past experiences that others can relate to. Also myself as a person enjoy switching up the type of photos I take. It is more like an experience for me every photoshoot. I learn from it all to better myself, I mostly like doing up close photos or a worms view. I personally enjoy taking portraits just because of the process and it isn’t just fine the photos can turn out nice if it’s done correct with the right setting.
